Daufuskie Island Home Listings For Sale
General Information: Bloody Point
Oceanfront homesites are allotted at least one acre out of the community's 438. Though no houses or condos border the golfing green, many large homes have views of the recently-renourished beaches. Strict guidelines ensure the community's classic relaxing ambience, so be sure to acquire approval before any building or landscaping.
General Information: Melrose/Daufuskie Club and Resort
Accommodation choices vary between the Melrose Inn, which offers guest rooms and elegant dining, or the Low Country Beach Cottages with beach or golfing green views. Each cottage is fully-furnished and includes televisions, washers, and dryers among other appliances. The resort covers 662 acres and is the second largest community on Daufuskie Island's partially covered by forest, throughout which full-sized houses are scattered, and partially touching the ocean. Both full-sized homes and two- to four-bedroom cottages are available for vacation rentals.
General Information: Haig Point
Generally for single-family homes, the lots run over an acre in size with views of the Atlantic, Calibogue Sound, marshes, landscapes, woods, lakes, cliffs, golfing greens, or lagoons. Haig Point's 1,040 acres deem it the largest of Daufuskie's communities. Small cottages and homes are available for rental purposes all over the property. The 723 homesites, 220 of which are either already developed or in the process, begin at $35,000 and continue to rise to over $1 million. Plantation homes are between $230,000 and $320,000; and custom-built estates/townhomes run from $400,000 to upwards of $1 million. Cedar Cove is the name of Haig Point's waterfront community, and offers access to boat slips. Memberships to all of Haig Point's amenities are being arranged as an added convenience for owners.
