Lowcountry Pumpkin Patches and More

It's officially fall and we are all on a quest to find the perfect pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, Jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin bread and muffins are all part of the Lowcountry's fall fun. Here are some great events happening around the area. 

 

On Hilton Head Island: Shelter Cove's Pumpkin Patch

ON the mainland: Holiday Farms & Dempsey Farms 

Holiday Farms located on Grays Highway (Hwy 278) between Ridgeland and Hampton.
Address: 10884 Grays Highway, Ridgeland, SC. Phone: 843-726-5527. Open: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Friday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until dark.
The Great Pumpkin Patch runs from October 1st until October 31st. Have a great time participating in barrel racing, duck races, bouncy house, the new Jump Pad, Haytona Speedway, steer roping, cow milking, a barnyard zoo and a great general store full of pumpkin-themed merchandise.



Dempsey Farms is located 11 miles east of Beaufort on Highway 21 south on your way to Hunting and Fripp Islands.

Offering an amazing assortment of fall vegetables and a variety of ways to purchase their homegrown pumpkins, a fun afternoon enjoying the farms tractor pull hayrides, local honey, farm market, and picnic area is a great afternoon for you and your family!
